Ever thought of involving your mum in your wedding ceremony? There's lots of ways to do so, even if she's sadly unable to be there. Of course your mum can be invaluable in your wedding planning and in the few hours before the ceremony as this great photo by @jenspittlephotography captures. But often it's your Dad or special person who walks you up the aisle and presents you to be married etc. But you could involve your Mum in all sorts of ways for example, Both she and your dad/significant other could walk you up the aisle. She could be involved in your ceremony enhancement be it tying the knot, rose ceremony, unity candle or sand ceremony. She could write, choose or do a reading, if she's shy someone could read it on her behalf. We could make a special mention within the ceremony and a presentation of a gift, it's a bit more special than doing it later during the speeches. These are just a few ideas but there's many ways to honour your Mum during your ceremony and if a special relative is sadly no longer with us they can be honoured too. For example a photograph, a beautifully decorated empty seat, using one of her favourite readings, songs, having a memory table. It's YOUR ceremony that we create together, anything is possible.
