My esteemed Paralegals and fellow members of the Public, Today, I come before you with a call to arms, a rallying cry for justice, and a testament to our unwavering resolve in the face of unjust opposition. Our battle is not merely for ourselves but for the very principles of fairness and equality within our legal system and the public interest. Behold the Factum for our Notice of motion for leave to appeal in our immigration case, a document that lays bare the egregious overreach of the Law Society. Caruso strikes back with unparalleled force, exposing their blatant disregard for the laws enshrined in the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultant Act. We are not merely permitted to practice immigration law; we are entitled to it by law. To those who would dare deny us our rightful place, heed the words of the Law Society Act itself. It is crystal clear: the provision of legal services extends far beyond the confines of traditional legal practitioners. We, as paralegals, possess the knowledge, the skill, and the right to draft documents, offer advice, and represent our clients before adjudicative bodies. But alas, our adversaries have resorted to despicable tactics in their attempts to stifle our progress. They play games with us, withholding vital documents, and obstructing the course of justice. They act with impunity, betraying the very oath they took to uphold the law. No more shall we tolerate such flagrant abuse of power! No more shall we stand idly by as they trample upon our rights! We demand accountability, and we demand it now! I stand before you, ready to take the fight to the highest courts, to expose their deceit and hold them accountable for their actions. I will not rest until justice is served, until every lawyer involved in this obstruction of justice is held in contempt before the eyes of the law. My fellow paralegals, my fellow citizens, the time for action is upon us. Let us unite in our resolve, let us stand firm in our principles, and let us fight until victory is ours. For enough is enough, and justice will prevail. if you like to Make a donation please visit https://gofund.me/c1e94058 #paralegal #paralegals #immigration #accesstojustice #lawyer #lawyers #appeal #factum

It is an interesting case Tony. On the one hand the law society act is meant to promote competence of legal professionals to protect the public. On the other hand, the law society act creates a monopoly by which the public can be excluded from justice by reducing the number of available professionals who have the right to represent those in needs. Competence vs Availability Priced out vs Accessibility to justice. One could argue the law society act has the effect of excluding those without means from their democratic rights. Which leads to the question, do we want a society where our legal system becomes the most accessible dispute resolution system? Certainly, that would strain the system beyond the breaking point. Many considerations. Good luck!
