They know it is a safe and welcoming place to ask questions and find lots of resources.”—Tanya Cruz, Site Director, Catholic Charities WIC Grocery Center The USDA estimates about half of all infants in the U.S. are served by the federal Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC). There are many complexities around hunger and food insecurity. While universal breakfast and lunch successfully passed our legislature in the spring, children face additional food gaps. This is where Every Meal steps in. Through our Weekend Meal Program, nearly 12,000 children are sent home with nutritious, delicious, and relevant food each week that nourishes their minds and bodies so they are ready to learn on Mondays. The need for our program is not slowing down and while the complexities of child hunger remain, one thing is clear: your support means that there will be food at home on the weekends. Will you help us say yes to kids needing weekend good support by joining one or both of our new Giving Circles? Monthly Giving Circle - https://hubs.ly/Q024dfyV0 When you donate $5 or more per month, you automatically join Every Meal’s Monthly Giving Circle, a group of recurring supporters playing a key role in our current and growing work to change the story of child hunger in Minnesota. Leadership Giving Circle - https://hubs.ly/Q024dncN0 When you donate $1,000 or more in a fiscal year, you automatically join Every Meal’s Leadership Giving Circle, a group of generous supporters playing a vital role in addressing child food insecurity today and creating a hunger-free future in Minnesota. Every Meal’s new Giving Circles recognize supporters making a long-lasting impact on child hunger in Minnesota. Consider giving today, and change the story of child hunger. #EveryMeal #AllKidsOurKids #ChildHunger #Nonprofit

Child poverty more than doubled in 2022 - a result of policy choices by policymakers in Congress. Food insecurity also increased in 2022 severely impacting families and continuing ongoing racial inequities in America. It’s absurd and a moral failure of our country. Help Food Research & Action Center shed light on these issues and advocate for policies that help lift people out of poverty. As you’re setting your intentions for 2024, consider starting with a contribution to help FRAC continue its vital work.
As the year comes to a close, help #EndHungerNow in America! Your donation to FRAC helps fuel children’s health & learning, & ensures that millions of people who struggle against poverty-related hunger can access the nutrition they need! https://ctt.ec/2n0b1+

Did you know nearly 1 in 3 families struggle to afford diapers and diapering supplies? The Utah Diaper Distribution Demonstration Project (UDDRP) is here to make a difference because no family should have to choose between buying diapers and other essentials like food or utilities. This vital program supports families across Utah, helping to alleviate the financial burden of diapering supplies. By providing access to these essential items, we're not just reducing stress over finances; we're also contributing to the health and well-being of young children. How you can help! We alway welcome donations of diapers, diapering supplies and financial contributions. By contributing to UDDRP, you're directly supporting families in need, allowing them to focus on what truly matters - the health and happiness of their children. Donations are accepted at Utah Diaper Bank or LITTLE LAMBS FOUNDATION FOR KIDS INC or you can contribute a financial donation here: https://bit.ly/4attVZ4. If you'd like to make a large financial or supply donation, you can contact CAP Utah Executive Director, Clint Cottam at: [email protected]. URGENT: Summer Hunger Crisis; Your Help Needed Now! For 47,920 children in our community, summer isn't just about fun in the sun. It means uncertainty and hunger without school meals. Hearts, Hands and Hope (HHH) is working tirelessly to fill this critical gap, but we need your support more than ever. The demand for our services has tripled this summer, as families struggle to put food on the table. We cannot let these children go hungry, that’s why we’re holding a special Feed Children this Summer Fundraiser. Hearts, Hands, and Hope has an urgent need of $25,000 for our Summer Hunger Relief Program to provide up to 362,500 nutritious meals. While the average cost of a single meal in Seminole County is $4.14, our program can provide meals for less than half that cost. Your contribution will directly impact approximately 6,960 individuals through food assistance, healthcare services, and employment opportunities, creating a ripple effect of positive change in your own backyard. Every dollar you give will bring immediate relief and hope to these children and their families. Let us reach this goal by the end of the month, or sooner! Please, take a moment to donate now and help us meet this urgent need. If you can't contribute at this time, please share this post with someone who can make a difference. Visit https://lnkd.in/edKGRKMi to donate now and select 'Summer Hunger Crisis' to be recognized! Let's come together as a community and end summer hunger! These children are hungry today, let’s help them now. #SummerHungerRelief #HeartsHandsHope #CommunityImpact #donatenow
