Exciting news in #hydrogen innovation! Bronkhorst Taiwan is thrilled to announce the signing of an MoU with #MIRDC (Metal Industries Research & Development Centre), marking a historic collaboration reshaping Taiwan's hydrogen landscape. Aligned with global trends for carbon neutrality and the EU's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism #CBAM, MIRDC's recently hosted the "Hydrogen High-Pressure Storage and Industrial Combustion Technology Seminar”. This groundbreaking event, supported by the Industrial Technology Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, spotlighted MIRDC's strides in hydrogen combustion, transmission, and storage technologies, connecting Taiwan's domestic hydrogen supply chains. The MoU, witnessed by MIRDC CEO Mr. Lin Chi-Long, is part of the broader "Hydrogen Combustion Industry Application and High-Pressure Transmission and Storage Technology Alliance," initiated in March 2023. The alliance facilitated a technical exchange between Taiwan and Japan, featuring lectures from scholars at Kyushu University and Tokyo Tech. The exchange of insights on hydrogen storage and combustion technology fostered a symbiotic learning experience, exemplifying the alliance's mantra that 1+1 can indeed be greater than 2. #BronkhorstTaiwan is honored to contribute to this transformative journey. As part of the alliance, we look forward to driving innovation, sharing knowledge, and playing a pivotal role in Taiwan's hydrogen energy industry's sustainable development. Together, let's pave the way for a future powered by clean and efficient hydrogen energy! #partnerinflow #weknowflow

VTEC Lasers and Sensors will be attending ESTEC 2024, from October 15th to 17th. This is the largest international energy storage conference and exhibition in the world and takes place at the RAI Amsterdam. VTEC Lasers and Sensors is co-operating with Spectrik and Innoflex to complete an advanced ammonia mitigation system. The system can simultaneously reduce ammonia gas emissions and monitor ammonia levels in real-time, thereby ensuring air purification is completed efficiently. This application is first targeted for the agriculture industry, to reduce ammonia levels initially on farms, but VTEC is also looking at other applications and possibilities. Ammonia is traditionally produced using greenhouse gases which is why it is desirable to mitigate it, but VTEC is also looking at applications involving green ammonia. Green ammonia is ammonia produced from renewable sources which can then be used as a fuel or to transport gases such as hydrogen (as a fuel and energy carrier). Come visit us at ESTEC or stay tuned on Linkedin to hear more about what we are working on.
