Come with me for a Tour with Exclusive Cars🏎️ and Technologies ⚙️⚡️ I have spotted The Festival of Speed is definitely one of my favourite 💜 event of the year as it is a unique opportunity to see very rare HyperCars (Rimac Automobili, McLaren Automotive Ltd…) but also racing cars 🏎️(Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team, McLaren…) Many New Cars & HyperCars were revealed here (Red Bull RB17…) and it was for me the opportunity to see for the 1st time the YangWang U9 🇨🇳 and the BUGATTI 🇫🇷Tourbillon In addition, if you are patient like me you can spot 👀 cool Tech such as: ▪️Organic 3D-printed chassis from Czinger Vehicles ▪️Integrated Hub & Calliper ▪️BYD #EV Platförm with Blade #Battery Cells ▪️Formula E Parts … But also very exclusive Cut-Through a complete #Formula1 🏎️ and some Cool (very) High Performance Hybrid Engine 😜 PS: there is more than 20 videos/photos showing a car with Lithium Battery 🪫 or an #Electric Technology ⚡️, who can name all of them?

Really happy to see the #Electric YangWang U9 at #GoodWood 🇬🇧 Festival of Speed this weekend With her 956kW ⚡️ of Power (1,280 hp), she could be aligned in the category of HyperCars but she is far too affordable (230,000€ 💶 - same price as a Maserati GranTurismo Folgore for example) Equipped with a 80kWh LFP (Blade) #Battery 🔋 from BYD, she can Fast Charge 🔌 at 500kW (30% to 80% in 10 min) for about 450km range Chinese cars 🚗🇨🇳 are no longer these tiny-crap cans and Chinese #EV are massively presented at GoodWood for the European market Among the Chinese Electric Cars⚡️ I have spotted: Group Lotus (Evija, Evere…), MG, Polestar ⭐️, BYD…and many more in the Electric Village sponsored by bp

I can’t believe that some people still believe that Formula E 🏎️⚡️ is « boring ». Women Driven by Dreams… I rarely post about Women in Engineering and in Motorsport 👩🏻🏆 because I usually prefer to focus on Technical knowledge but sometimes there are performances to be highlighted This weekend, the Iron Dames - a Team made of 100% female drivers - won the LMGT3 Imola 🇮🇹 Race of the European Le Mans Series with their Porsche AG Sarah Bovy and her friends 👩👱🏼♀️👩🏻🦳represent for me what is true Women Leadership: passion 💕, hardworking 💪🏻, training, failing, back to more learning, dedication… and success 🌟 Well done Ladies! Am I watching at the Past or the Future❓ Yesterday I spent the day at Formula 1 in Silverstone 🇬🇧 with Intertek and various Experts to talk about Future Fuels ⛽️ at #FutureFuels24 In 2026, F1 🏎️ will use 100% sustainable Fuel but is that not too late? Even if I work today nearly exclusively on #Battery and #Electric Vehicles 🚗 ⚡️, I made my PhD - a long time ago - on IC Engine 💥 and I have been working many years on Fuel/Engine matching But the fact is that in 2024, it is still not possible to buy fossil-free *Gasoline at the pump 🚘🌱 ❌ and the only major change in Fuel Technology for our daily life (at least in Europe) is the introduction of 10% Ethanol Does #eFuel have a real Future for mass-production and be a game-changer in business and for the Planet 🌍 ? Or are they too slow to keep the pace with Electrification ⚡️? As for Motorsport 🏁, what is Future? Le Mans 3-weeks ago was displaying #Hydrogen racing Cars as their Future; #F1 is slowly introducing Synthetic Fuels; and Very few Series race fully on #Electric ⚡️(Formula E) with no involvement of major players such as Tesla or BYD Meanwhile I will selfishly enjoy the F1 but it will not change that I look forward to joining the Final of Formula E 🏎️🔋 in 2-week-time in London 🇬🇧

Rimac Automobili 🇭🇷 and Rimac Technology are today 2 major players in #Battery 🔋 and EV Technology 🚗⚡️ including the HyperCar Segment but also more generally #Automotive Industry (see their link with Porsche AG) Here are some examples I have been able to point out: ▪️The Battery Pack of the RIMAC Nevera 🇭🇷 ▪️The Battety Pack of the Valkyrie (Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd) 🇬🇧 ▪️The PDU (Power Distribution Unit) of the new BUGATTI Tourbillon 🇫🇷 ▪️The Battery Pack of the Regera (Koenigsegg Automotive AB) 🇸🇪 which is immersion cooling by the way Of course the Team of Mate Rimac also develops many other EV Tech including Inverter 📱, electronic controls, eMotors, EDU, etc. some that you can be seen in this edit

Bye-Bye Extreme E ⚡️(Full Electric) and Welcome Extreme H 🫧 (H2) Yesterday was presented in London 🇬🇧 the new #Hydrogen Racing Car called Pioneer25 to race 🏁 in a dedicated World Championship The Extreme H is based on the same format as the Extreme E (Full Electric) Extreme E is my favourite ❤️ Motorsport Series: ▪️many overtakes and car rollovers ▪️races all over the world 🌍 in Extreme conditions (desert 🌵, ice ❄️, mud…) demonstrating #Battery and #EV Technologies reliability ▪️highly sustainable 🌱 with coupling with charity/nature defence actions ♻️ ▪️50-50 Gender Balanced between Female 👱♀️ and Male 👨🏻🦱drivers Extreme H will use a Battery Pack 🗳️ (see photo) developed by Fortescue Zero (Williams) and a #FuelCell made by Symbio (see photo) Please note that despite Alejandro Agag claim saying that Extreme H « introduce the world to the 1st hydrogen racing car », I personally consider that there exist already many previous Hydrogen Racing Cars such as Forze Hydrogen Racing 🇳🇱, Green Team Twente, GCK Dakar 🐪, etc. I hope I will be able to see one of Extreme H Race at some point and I look forward to the 2025 Championship

I have seen hundreds of #Battery Tests 🪫 and wanted to share this one with you (filmed at EMITECH) on Corrosion and Leakage 💧 in particularly through the connectors 🔌 The principle is to cycle ⚡️ (charge/discharge) the Battery Pack in a controlled environment 🌡️ while you spray a liquid 💦 on the connector and other parts sensible to ingress Le liquid is coloured 🟣 so that you can easily identify 🔎 where it is injected but also if it enters inside the Pack The main target of such a test is long term leakage that can cause Corrosion 🫧 which is a common problem encountered as the Battery is ageing 🔋⏳ By the way, there exist some technologies able to dampen/absorb 🧽 water intrusion inside the Pack and reduce corrosion effect, let me know if you want to know more… Thanks Mobility | Groupe Emitech for letting me film 🎥 this test and thanks Noëlly Dupont and sebastien potteau for supporting this work If you like this Series in collaboration with Emitech Group, do not hesitate to tell 💬 me if you want to see more #Automotive and in particular #EV Tests

Here is my traditional Video 🎬 Summary of the #Battery Show 🇩🇪 With 1000+ exhibitors, it is impossible to see 👀 everything in 3 days but I tried to compile a mixture of trends 🏗️ Compared to previous years, there is a big highlight on Gigafactory set-up, manufacturing, assembly methods, processes, etc. Chinese 🇨🇳 Companies such as Lead Intelligent Equipment, KATOP Automation… clearly dominate what is happening in European 🇪🇺 Gigafactories 🦾 Automatic assembly is also a must with equipment for fast and precise welding 🎆, adhesive dispensing… (Atlas Copco, TRUMPF, Beckhoff Automation …). Working with the right machines enable specific technologies but also free margin 💶 by reducing downtime, manpower cost… 🔋 Cells continue to propose interesting innovations, not necessarily on the ⚛️ itself but on tiny details 👁️ that enable new Battery Pack Design (if you want to know more contact me) 🔬 In terms of innovation, I found very interesting products but there are well hidden and you need knowledge and/or quite a lot of talk 💬 to be understand them 🗳️ About Battery Pack Designs, the crazy period where everyone was trying everything 🤪 is over and you see now 2 main routes: 1️⃣ very traditional, conservative, risk-adverse but low innovation 2️⃣ Simple and clean but efficient design with “hidden” 🤫 technologies that make the difference 💰 From a business and money point of view, you clearly do not feel any decrease of interest in #Electric ⚡️ and EV Technologies!
