Discover CEEZER's project developers: Octavia Carbon 🇰🇪 Octavia Carbon is the pioneering Direct Air Capture Company in the Global South, building machines that can filter CO2 from the atmosphere. Driven by the conviction that Kenya is the world’s best place for DAC, the company’s mission is to reverse the effects of climate change and end the fossil fuel age.  In Q4 of this year, Octavia plans to launch the first DAC+Storage facility in the Southern Hemisphere in partnership with a CO2 storage partner. This initiative aims to revolutionize the landscape of DAC deployments and has the potential to accelerate DAC down the cost curve while promoting social and economic growth in Kenya. Following the initial launch, Octavia Carbon plans to scale its pilot project beyond the initial 1000tCO2/yr in the subsequent years, making a significant contribution to achieving global net-zero targets. “Our partnership with CEEZER is a significant milestone in our mission to contribute to global net-zero targets. Their well-established marketplace provides us with a platform to enhance the visibility of our carbon credit offerings in the global CDR market. CEEZER's platform streamlines the process for businesses to offset their carbon footprint by giving them access to high-quality projects like ours, which have undergone rigorous vetting. This is vital work in the fight against climate change, and we are proud to be a part of it.’ Martin Freimüller, CEO and Founder.
