New research from ILC Partner, LV= highlights the impact of the cost of living crisis on young people Gen Z (18-26yrs) are most likely to fall behind on utility bills, credit card loans, and mortgage and rent payments. Gen Z are also the most likely to have sought face to face mental health support. Baby Boomer (59-77yrs), Silent (78-95yrs) and Greatest (96yrs+) generations are not reporting these financial challenges, possibly suggesting a contrasting view of financial ‘wellness’. https://lnkd.in/gK35VR9B

There’s a stigma about asking for support in times of hardship. Right now, more and more people who thought ‘it won’t happen to me’ are under pressure. Redlining persists today and is associated with higher poverty; poor mental health outcomes; lower life expectancy; and chronic health conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and stroke. Here in Ohio, researchers from CWRU found that racism is a leading factor in redlining decisions. "The research showed that people who lived in Ohio communities with even one Black resident were 14 times more likely to be redlined than in neighborhoods with no Black people, said Berg. She said appraisers were thorough in documenting the prejudiced reasons why they believed certain neighborhoods should be refused mortgages. “They would make evaluations [saying], for example, ‘the current state of the neighborhood will maybe be stable for another two years. But then we're going to see continued,' quote-unquote, 'encroachments of colored families, which is going to cause problems.’” The deliberate disinvestment in communities is a policy decision and can only be addressed by large-scale policy overhaul. Don't let emotions dictate your decisions; it's not your responsibility to fix what your parents couldn't. Set boundaries and avoid manipulation. We're breaking free from generational curses. The emphasis of this message is to highlight the importance of personal financial stability and security before taking on familial responsibilities. It also encourages you to set healthy boundaries and avoiding emotional manipulation, which can be a key factor in breaking generational cycles of poverty, debt, or other financial struggles.

Teach! The rate that concerns me the most is not any unemployment rate, or mortgage rates, or interest rate, or repossession of cars or credit card debt increasing. The rate that concerns me the most is an unmeasurable rate but I see it, I know it, I study this. Unfortunately this rate right now is only increasing and I only see this rate increasing the more unfortunately. Do you know what this rate is? I call it 'The Relationship Survival Only Rate.' It's the I'm only in this relationship until I get on my feet. This has to do with what I predicted some four years ago, which is women, single parent women mostly exchanging sex for rent. This is the 'once I'm out of this transition I'm out of this relationship'. This rate is killing and going to continue to kill families = Killing families kills communities= Killing communities leads to unhealthy people mentally, spiritually, and absolutely financially = When people are at this stage in life they do things they never saw themselves doing. This concerns me more than anything. Make sure your daughter is not categorically in this rate. because you know what, babies are born out of this situation and this rate. unloved unwanted, unintended and cared for babies. I got a baby now damn.... Not your sister's babies, but your daughter's baby on the way... This baby is just another financial burden I can't afford and honestly deep down I hate to afford. Do you hear what I'm saying. Make sure your daughter, your son, is not on either side of this rate, being used or using someone. like a junkie and it's needle, this is all I need right now and it's just me and you and outside of this use we don't have a relationship. Give me 20 unhealthy adults categorically in this rate and behold, we will eventually all see 40 unhealthy broken homes. Which result in over 200 unhealthy outcomes for a decade or so or maybe for some or many for life maybe. This is from, Northern Nevada's Number one Expert in Homeless & Transient Living. You might feel tired or worn down because of the struggle you are having with money. You might feel ashamed to seek help fearing the stigma of the Society how they will view you or others because of the image they have created in social media or to the people around them; #theiamrich or #Ihavemoney image”.* So you opt for #suicide to end it all. The time has come where we need to live according to our means.
