Improvement Expert l Team Builder l Master Organizer l Developer of Leaders l Champion of Good

Over the last 8+ years I have partnered with some of the most talented and passionate people in the healthcare industry, both internally and with clients. Words cannot come close to adequately and fully weighing the truth of that statement. Over the last two weeks since submitting my resignation, I’ve been preparing to transition out of my beloved Advisory role. More than ever it has become obvious that there is much to be thankful for. Here are just a few: - My fellow colleagues. So many friendships formed, many that will continue for a lifetime. - The clients. During my time I had the honor of partnering closely with 27 health systems and assisted 38 others in one way or another. Each unique in their own right. What a true privilege to work with close to 70 healthcare organizations across the Nation, some of the best-of-the best, as their improvement expert. To all of you, thank you for trusting me and allowing me to be a part of the work you do, day in and day out. - Mentees. A heavy responsibility to serve as a mentor to close to a dozen advisors and account managers, and well worth the time and effort. Such a fulfilling role. If you don’t mentor anyone today, find someone to mentor, and find a mentor for yourself while you’re at it. We make each other better this way. - Networking. The years serving as co-facilitator for two networking groups was a highlight for me. Bringing large Academic Medical Centers (AMCs) together into one group, and also hospitals within the Veterans Administration (VA) into another group, to network and share best practices with each other with a National lens was nothing short of amazing. - Presenting: Whether at the local hospital level or in a system board room, whether providing education open to all clients virtually, or on a stage at regional conferences, the opportunities have been plenty. Each exciting in their own right. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say that as I enter into my final week at Press Ganey, I can confidently share that the most valuable part of the last 8+ years has been the people. Truly, the people. And when I close my laptop for the last time on June 28th, it’s the people and all the memories with them that I will hold closest to my heart. To my esteemed colleagues and friends, thank you! I am better for knowing you! ❤️
