Welcome to TWINRD - Ecodigital Futures, a research project advancing Europe’s approach to 𝑚𝑎𝑐𝑟𝑜-𝑒𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑜𝑚𝑖𝑐 𝑚𝑜𝑑𝑒𝑙𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑔 to support the 𝑇𝑤𝑖𝑛 𝑇𝑟𝑎𝑛𝑠𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛, a harmonious movement towards a #sustainable economy that is deeply integrated with digital progress. ❇▶ 📊 While traditional economic models at the EU level support strategic planning for sustainable #research and #innovation (R&I), these often fail to capture the full scope of R&I activities, particularly in the realms of emerging green and digital technologies. 💡TWINRD will tackle these shortcomings by enhancing established models like GEM-E3 and NEMESIS, and by incorporating new data and technology classifications. ✅ Improving how we model green and digital technologies and refining the tools used to evaluate the impacts of R&I policies on socio-economic and environmental outcomes, will enable TWINRD to help shape a more sustainable and technologically advanced economy. 🆓 In the spirit of openness and collaboration, all models and resources developed by TWINRD will be freely accessible via the project's platform.
