Bloodbath, gore, carnage - you ought to have a strong stomach to absorb this one... A new experience, an unexplored genre, a wild ride - therein lies its biggest strength. #KillReview #Kill hinges on a skeletal, one-line story, but director #NikhilNageshBhat takes you on an unforgettable ride once the journey begins... The brilliantly-executed action choreography [Se-yeong Oh, Parvez Shaikh] and camera movement [Rafey Mehmood] keep you hooked, the mayhem that follows redefines the concept of brutality. Do the bloodbath, brutality, smashed heads and slit throats put you off after a point? Frankly, you need to have an appetite for gore that unfolds on screen... It's NOT the regular action fare that you are accustomed to watching, be forewarned. #Lakshya is a revelation, his transformation from being a rakshak to a raakshas will leave you stunned. Hindi films haven't had a true-blue action hero for a while now, #Lakshya should fill that void, he can be the new poster boy of action movies. He is a wonderful talent as well, the emotions he displays are pitch-perfect. #RaghavJuyal is terrific as the sinister sociopath. Generally, one associates an actor with their past work, but Raghav does an about-turn, portrays a part that proves his versatility. Actually, #Kill should be his big ticket to fame. #TanyaManiktala doesn't get much scope, while #AshishVidyarthi puts up a solid act. Any blemishes? Yes, the culmination could've arrived slightly earlier, the goings-on appear stretched after a point... Also, the romantic flashback could've been avoided... Music? Thankfully, you don't miss it here, since action is the biggest star of #Kill. Final word: Are you a fan of #JohnWick and #BulletTrain? #Kill - the desi answer - is for you then... NOT for the faint-hearted, for sure.
