If you’ve ever read my book, "Museums as Agents of Change," or have worked with me before as a colleague or client, you’ll know how much I value community-centered practices as a key part of being effective in our organizations. I'm excited to share that two weeks from today, on April 10, I'll be kicking off my first ever Spring Intensive focusing on Community-Centered Engagement! The Spring Intensive for Community-Centered Engagement is a 3-part online workshop where we will dive deeper into key aspects of community involvement, community partnerships, and audience engagement strategies for organizations. Some of the things we'll be exploring include:  - working on defining what "community" means to your work and your organization - learning about an asset-based approach to community engagement - examining different models of community involvement and co-creation - engaging in group working sessions geared towards applying strategies - developing a set of actions for your organization One of my goals for this Spring Intensive is to create an intimate online community, so I've capped the registration at around 20.
