Being new to Academies Enterprise Trust I can be a bit more dispassionate about these results as they are not my doing. They really are extraordinary, especially for KS2. When you have schools in areas of deprivation you could argue that doing well means reaching the national averages. To be 15 percentage points above the national average is quite something: a testament to the work done by teams across the Trust. And, the results for disadvantaged children are even more special. Seven percentage points higher than the 2023 average across the Trust, and nine above the national average for 2024. What’s even more pleasing is that there is no intention of stopping where we are. The ambition is hugely engaging to work with, so watch out for more in 2025…. …every child really does matter.
