CEO & Co-founder at impress.ai | Entrepreneurial AI PhD leading impress.ai to global recruitment automation leadership, advocate for equitable AI-driven workplace transformation.
Have you heard the term Dogfooding? During a recent career fair, students were surprised to learn that we use impress.ai for our own hiring processes. It dawned on me that this isn't the norm among our competitors, but I wouldn't have it any other way. At impress.ai, every single employee has been hired using our own platform. This practice, often referred to as "dogfooding," is crucial for product companies to deeply understand and continuously improve their offerings. I'm incredibly proud of the diverse and skilled team we've built through this approach. From senior engineers who completed their degrees after joining us to employees from varied educational and professional backgrounds who changed careers, our hiring process prioritizes skills and potential over any other factor. It's an interesting fact that we beat industry averages on these without making it an objective to optimise on. And how is that possible? By Dogfooding. 😀 Amrith D.
