Trusts and foundations are more interested in your beneficiaries than your charity. Core, capital and salary costs (unless directly/only related to a service etc) are all looking inward into your charity, not outward to your beneficiaries. Frame your budgets and your asks around their needs, not your charity’s. #TrustFundraising

How do you budget for Christmas gifts? It depends on you and your finances, I would say no more than 1.5% of your annual income.
