Congratulations to the Weinert Center for Entrepreneurship | Wisconsin School of Business for earning exceptional rankings for the best undergraduate and best graduate programs for entrepreneurs in 2024 by The Princeton Review and Entrepreneur Magazine. With more than 24 courses offered in entrepreneurship and a combination of academic excellence with practical application, the graduate program received an overall ranking of #22 (#6 in the Midwest). Hailed for the university programs and activities that support and encourage entrepreneurial thinking spread across many schools and colleges, the University of Wisconsin-Madison earned a #34 overall (#12 in the Midwest) for the best undergraduate program. This year's survey considered hundreds of colleges and universities in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Europe, and evaluated them on a multitude of factors—including their programming, their available mentors, and their graduates' success rates in the business world. **Which UK universities are producing today's business leaders?** Amid the UK's academic landscape, universities are nurturing future business leaders beyond traditional roles. Novuna Business Cash Flow analyzed LinkedIn data of 2.8 million alumni from 121 universities, revealing #Oxford, #Cambridge, and lesser-known institutions like the #University of #Cumbria and #Goldsmiths fostering entrepreneurship. London and the South dominate the top 20 entrepreneurial universities, with London being a powerhouse. Notably, the North and Wales challenge the norm, with certain institutions showing growth in producing founders from 2017-2019 to 2020-2022. John Atkinson, Novuna's Head, emphasizes that entrepreneurship thrives beyond top-tier institutions. Our Honorary Teaching Fellow.   We are thrilled to shine a spotlight on one of our exceptional team members, Tiffany Moore, who holds the title of 'Honorary Teaching Fellow' with Lancaster University Management School.   Tiffany is a participant in the Lancaster University ‘Entrepreneurs in Residence’ program, an initiative that started in 2008 and has since flourished into a global network with over eighty Entrepreneurs in Residence worldwide. Tiffany, along with her fellow Entrepreneurs in Residence, collaborates within Lancaster University's Department of Entrepreneurship and Strategy, creating a vital bridge between the SME world and the Higher Education realm. This is a great feature of Dave Williams's work in the Department of Management & Entrepreneurship leading and equipping the Ph.D. students to be the future faculty to teach entrepreneurship. Through our Anderson Center Research Fund and our ACEI Research Fellows cohort, we get to support cutting-edge academic research related to entrepreneurship and innovation. It’s Entrepreneurs Day! The School of Business runs a Shark Tank-inspired MBA Graduate Pitch Night where Master in Business Administration candidates put Christ-centered entrepreneurship into action. It’s a lively component of the MBA capstone class, required for each cohort and open to select undergraduates who perform exceptionally well. During the event, MBA students with a compelling start-up idea pitch to a panel of investors. Typically, these investors are personal friends of Professor Ray Bryant, the business faculty who began this tradition. In the past, this panel of high-profile entrepreneurs and CEOs has made several angel investment offers, including one seed round of $50,000.  “The presence of successful business professionals ramps up the pressure when it’s not just their classmates and instructor,” said Ray, who started teaching at Jessup in 2018. “The goal is to simulate as much real-world pressure as possible, while providing a few students an opportunity to turn their projects into reality.”  Explore Jessup's MBA programs now. 🎓🌐 #EntrepreneursDay #DivineInnovation #ChristCenteredEntrepreneurship

Nothing is impossible.. I am thrilled to share wonderful news that I am offered Personal Chair Professor in Inclusive Entrepreneurship and Strategy from 1st September 2023.  This achievement is the result of strong passion, commitment, resilience, and dedication as well as collaborative, partnership based, work with various stakeholders. I believe, the professorial role will allow me to build on my strong track record of research development and leadership, and impact-driven projects to create tangible social value for wider society, and to advancing research and engagement in Inclusive entrepreneurship in a variety of contexts. I am very lucky to have been working with fantastic colleagues, SMEs, local authorities, business support providers, etc.  Their contributions to co-production of knowledge and impact generation have been amazing.   Many people played important part in my scholarship and research development.
