It is time to network here at the Dutch Life Sciences 2023 conference, in Leiden. This morning we had great sessions with speakers from industry, government and science coming together to discuss a range of topics in the theme of Scaling up: through innovations, partnerships and business strategies. The parallel sessions sessions are now in progress and include a session on ‘Innovation & Regulatory Challenges in Medical Devices’ hosted by QbD. Attendees can also go to the session hosted by PwC on ‘Financing life sciences development and growth by M&A, IPO or partnering strategy’. A third parallel session will host presentations about ‘Cell & Gene therapy: Innovations and business strategies’ hosted by Thermo Fisher Scientific. After a short break the programme continues with a short wrap-up and the announcement of the winner of the Investor Forum. Also, the Mibiton Foundation Quality Certificate will be handed out by Liduina Hammer, chair at Mibiton. Followed by Sheila Struyck who as closing keynote speaker is happy to share her ‘Lessons from gastronomy for the boardroom: how to drive change and have impact’.
