Today marks Earth Overshoot Day 2023. Today, humanity’s demand for ecological resources and services in a given year exceeds what Earth can regenerate in a year. This day serves as a resounding reminder to rethink our natural resource usage, encouraging us to combat single-use consumption and seek a balance between consumption and production. Luckily, solutions, such as reducing food waste, adopting plant-based diets, and promoting recycling, are continuously being explored by both corporates and citizens. [HOT OFF THE PRESS] "Leveraging environmental corporate social responsibility to promote green purchases: The case of new energy vehicles in the era of sustainable development" has been published in the Journal of Cleaner Production, an A-ranked journal by Elsevier. This latest publication by Jingwei Zhang, Manimekalai Jambulingam, Weng Marc Lim, Satish Kumar and yours truly sheds light on the effectiveness of environmental corporate social responsibility in shaping green buying intentions using the world’s largest economy of new energy vehicles (NEVs), China, as a case. One of the key highlights of the "Renewable Energy for Captive Use in Industry and Commerce" conference organized by the German Energy Trade Mission was meeting ENG. Lucy Wanjiku SEWAGE Recycling Engineering in water recycling. The Circular Economic Model has stakeholders in every industry and it's upon us to realize our position in this space.
