As hard as it is to admit, working in social media has made me realise I've been neglecting my personal brand. I've always been so focused on client work that I made excuses about not having enough time for my own posts. But back in February, I set a goal to prioritise showing up for myself on social media, especially LinkedIn, and to share our agency's work with the world. And guess what? I’ve actually stuck to it! One of the biggest lessons I've learned from this process is the importance of setting realistic goals and accepting that not every post needs to be perfect. Goals keep us accountable, but they need to be achievable. After a four-month hiatus from LinkedIn, I knew that aiming to post four times a week would overwhelm me and inevitably lead to me giving up. Instead, I set a goal to post once a week. This was manageable and something I could commit to. The best part? Now that it's part of my routine, I can naturally increase my posting frequency without it feeling overwhelming. Balancing work in this industry, especially when you're self-employed, is tough. But after over three years, I think I've finally cracked what works for me. Here's to showing up for yourself, making time for creating your own content and setting and smashing those goals! #forecreativeagency #personalbrand #creativeagency #contentcreation

So true, and super valuable info. I set time aside weekly to work internally on the brand, and think it is super valuable. Treating yourself or your brand as your own client is really important to ensure it gets the time it deserves. Congrats on building the habit, and being consistent 👏🏽

Excellent - I am guilty as charged when it comes to focusing on marketing myself. Your small steps approach sounds like a winner- Bravo 👏
