Uniting for good is what the Southeast Missouri State University dining team does best. The team recently came together for their second walk in the annual Walk MS event, where they raised donations that will contribute to multiple sclerosis research. The SEMO Dining team includes several associates and family members of individuals impacted by MS, and they are proud to raise awareness and contribute to funding research for the cause. Thank you to all who gave their time and donations!

According to an analysis released yesterday in conjunction with a project called BIG JOY, people who engage in daily acts of #kindness or #gratitude experience a lift in emotional well-being, positive emotions like hope and optimism, become happier and have improved relationships. This #nationalphilanthropyday, what act can you do that will lift your spirits? Need an idea? Check out how you can help your community through your local DG store below! (More on the Big Joy project: https://lnkd.in/gA7k3rs6)
From DG’s Feeding America partnership to our St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Thanks and Giving campaign, this #nationalphilanthropyday we celebrate the many ways our teams exhibit the Company’s mission of #ServingOthers. For the upcoming holiday season, join us in exhibiting kindness as we collect toys for local nonprofits to distribute to children in need at each of our ~20,000 stores through December 8. Dollar General is here for what matters and will also be donating $100,000 to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. 🎉 Happy Monday, everyone! 🎉 Kicking off the week with an exciting fundraiser! I'm thrilled to launch the first of (what I hope to be) many fundraisers for local nonprofits using my page. 👊 For those who don't know, I host a weekly podcast called Fondy Famous, where I spotlight a different business or nonprofit every Friday at 9am. I've used my page to help grow and bring awareness to local businesses and nonprofits, and today I need YOUR help! 🙏 👉Here's the deal: Professional Collectors Corp of Fond du Lac will donate up to $1500 to support Critter Junction Pet Rescue Fond du Lac, while I create content the month of July to share with all of you the impact they have! Here's how YOU can help: 1️⃣ Follow BOTH my page and Critter Junction Pet Rescue Fond du Lac. 2️⃣ Comment "done" on THIS post after following. *I do ask that followers are LOCAL to Wisconsin. 🧀 For every new follow in July, Professional Collectors Corp will donate $1, up to $1500. Let's make a difference together—every follow counts! Deadline July 19th, but I have a feeling we will close out much before then!🙌 If you'd like to make a donation, you can use the link below. If you'd like to sponsor a campaign like this, please message me directly. We grow better, by growing together. #Fundraiser #SupportLocal #PetRescue #FondyFamous #ProfessionalCollectorsCorp #CritterJunction #CommunityLove #JulyCampaign #FondduLacWi #nonprofit

The holidays are the most important time of the year for fundraising when nonprofits raise the majority of their annual operating revenue. At Second Harvest of Silicon Valley, financial donations are down about 20% from where we were at this time last year, and the food bank is receiving donations from fewer donors. As we move into the final days of December, Second Harvest still needs to raise $4M by 12/31 to stay on track with its annual goal. A staggering 1 in 6 people in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties are turning to Second Harvest for support. That equates to Second Harvest providing food to an average of 500,000 people every month. Last month we served 520,000 people. It’s critical we make our goal and we are asking our community to donate what they can to help at https://shfb.online/hm2023 —every $1 can help provide enough food for 4 nutritious meals with our current match. #FeedingSiliconValley
