The Racquet Sports industry is one which is experiencing an influx of participation like we have never seen before. Tennis has experienced a 33% rise since 2020 and pickleball has seen growth of 59%. Completing this trio is what is now widely considered the fastest growing sport in the world. Padel's meteoric rise now see's them firmly placed at the top table and with over 25 million players worldwide. There are currently 40,000 Padel courts worldwide, in the next 3 years this is expected to reach 85,000. The growth across the industry is why now is the perfect time to try and support this industry. The racquet sports industry is a $9 billion dollar industry, and the club sector plays a crucial part of it. Without facilities and locations to play, there would quite simply not be an industry. Whether its private member facilities or public free to play, we need every single court and more to accommodate for this boom. RacquetX is the first of its kind. Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the US, but there is another racket sport no one is talking about and it's ready to explode. It's called Padel. And, in my humble opinion, it's faster, cooler and way more fun to watch. If you're asking yourself why you haven't heard of it, it's because there are only 300 courts in the US today, many of which are in Miami, and that number is set to double this year. But don't let the small scale of those numbers fool you. Worldwide, there are over 25 million people playing the sport in 90 countries with popularity being highest in Europe - Spain has +6 million players and 20,000 courts, making it the second-most popular sport in the country behind soccer. Yes, pickleball was the first mover, but I believe padel will be the more compelling sports for advertisers, media companies, and investors over time. 1. More fun to watch = media deals 2.
