How does the problem personally impact the decision-maker Now, you can have a laser-focused presentation that solves their problem while giving them a path to their goal. 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴. He brought me out of the darkness and into the light. My identity came from my performance: if I was performing, great, but if I wasn't, self-doubt. I reached the pinnacle of my sales career. 𝗦𝘂𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗹𝘆, 𝗜 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝘆 𝗺𝗼𝗺, 𝘄𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗮 𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲, 𝗺𝘆 𝗱𝗮𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜 𝗴𝗼𝘁 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱. I didn't know how to process my emotions in 2004. So, I suppressed them. My life was built on a house of cards which crumbled around me. 𝗜 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘁. The flood of emotions took control of my life. 𝗜 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝘁… “𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀, 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻.” The grief weighed on me year after year. 𝗜𝗻 2004, 𝗜 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻. One night, I held a gun to my head and started tapping my finger on the trigger. I kept tapping the trigger harder and harder each time. 𝗧hen 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗖𝗞 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗖𝗞 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗖𝗞 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿. They kept knocking and knocking and knocking at the door. 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱, "𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂." Well, God worked miraculously that evening through another individual. God was right there with me in my pain, but I didn't realize it. I needed to work through everything step-by-step with God by my side. 𝗜 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗺𝘆 𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 𝗺𝗲. Over the next twenty years, I learned to stop suppressing my emotions and to process them healthily. I closely held to God's promises, which gave me direction and hope. 𝗠𝘆 𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁, 𝗺𝘆 𝘀𝗮𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗷𝗼𝘆, 𝗺𝘆 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝘂𝗯𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲. T - Tactics - The actions you take to reach your prospects. ➔ We changed their Tactic from cold outreach to warm outreach. T - Technique - How you execute those Tactics. ➔ We shifted their technique from repelling to Inviting A - Attitude - Have an intention to SERVE rather than SELL. ➔ We shifted their attitude from selling to serving. B - Behaviors - The number of Tactics to get specific results. ➔ We decreased their outreach from 100 per day to 30 per day. S - Strategy - A specific plan to attract and build confidence in your prospect’s mind about your ability to solve their problems. (Marketing) ➔ We shifted their strategy from being unknown to being welcomed into the conversation. Results ➔ 4X the meetings with 1/3 of the activity. ➔ From below 50% show-up rate for meetings to over 85% attendance rate.
