Yesterday, in West Philly, on the renowned basketball court at Tustin Playground, I was endorsed by Senator Vince Hughes, State Rep. Morgan Cephas and Councilman Curtis Jones Jr.! I’ve worked with all of these leaders both in Harrisburg and in City Council and I know that they understand what is on the line and how pivotal this moment is for Philly. I’m honored to have their support in this fight and I know they have my back.

I’m thrilled and honored to be endorsed by this powerful and trailblazing coalition of state legislators. They know better than most that change has to be fought for in the halls of power every day. We’re building a broad coalition and today the tent got a little bit bigger. I know that with them by my side, this people powered campaign is unstoppable! 💪🏿

I strongly believe in the power of arts and culture to inspire, educate, and unite communities. I speak from personal experience when I say the arts provide a platform for feelings and perspectives to be heard, and they play a crucial role in helping many people find their voice! That's why I am committed to supporting creative avenues in every way possible. We need to invest in arts education and provide artistic programs with the resources they need to thrive. Everyone should have the opportunity to explore the arts, as I had as a kid growing up in this city. 🎨🎭🎶 #ArtsMayor4Philly

We’ve had 99 mayors, all men. Not one of those 99 has looked like me. And there hasn't been a Black woman candidate for Mayor that has ever gotten this far before. It’s time to put an end to that pattern. Philly, it’s time for change. Check out my latest ad “Not One”.

This week, I launched my first set of television ads! These ads tell the story of who I am, what I have done, and what I will do when I am Mayor of Philadelphia. I’m excited for these ads to let supporters know that the campaign is catching fire and for the ads to serve as my introduction to people who are just starting to engage with our campaign. Take a look!
