Nothing is better than a Creator who wants to leave their full-time job with our help. Our approach? We spend time identifying true talent. Nothing is worse than a flash in the pan Creator who is not willing to grow and expand content. Put simply, a creative talent has protectable IP. This allows us to 3-5x deals fairly quickly because the negotiation is not just about performance and engagement. Not only do we have a grasp of marketing analytics, we also have legal backing. And of course, capturing true talent gives us the landscape of a particular niche, cascading to other talent. Once they see we rep the best in our space, we naturally gain referrals. It sounds complicated, but we spend INCREDIBLE amounts of time nurturing and identifying talent. So when we see Creators build their dream and leave their full time job, we could not be more proud and excited for their future. Everything then falls into place.

💫 It’s been just over a year since I took the leap as a freelance publicist and started Fable Communications(!) From baby brands and optical fiber technology to drool-worthy food and CPG founders, and sustainable, electric aviation (and let's be honest, my own wedding), I’m now finally coming up for air to do a bit of comms for myself. I am beyond grateful to my network for making initial introductions January '23 to launch me into this scary, yet hugely fulfilling world of self employment, and I'm hoping this post can continue that momentum 🙏 📖 As a well-trained jack-of-all-trades thanks to my incredible mentors, managers and colleagues at WE Communications, Small Girls PR, Derris, Opendoor, Corner Market Communications, I’ll continue to flex across industries to consult on brand strategy and positioning, while specializing in brand/business & executive thought leadership storytelling. 💭 Whenever I think the media landscape can’t get any wilder, I always come back to what I love - telling stories about people. The masterminds *behind* the products and brands, the voices transforming industries or personalities paving new paths forward. A "fable" is however you want to interpret it: a fairytale, a moral, a short form narrative, a dream put to paper. But no matter what, it’s a story that evokes wisdom and learning and many times, imagination. And that’s what I strive to create around the incredible people and brands I work with. 🤝 With a few projects wrapping I have spots open starting this month and would be more than happy to connect! Be it a quick intro call, a coffee (personal fav if you’re in the OC!) impromptu brainstorm, or just general questions. Please don’t hesitate to re-share this post, comment for reach, or personally reach out if you or someone you know needs support. Whether for a few months to get something off the ground, fill in for mat/pat leaves, or developing a long-term comms program, I’m your gal. ***Find me at*** www.fablecomms.com [email protected] or DM me here!

If you stop and think about it...social media managers and strategists are doing at least 10 different jobs. 1. copywriter 2. graphic designer 3. video editor 4. audio master 5. journalist/storyteller 6. public relations manager 7. analyst 8. customer services representative 9. community manager 10. brand ambassador Then on top of that...there's the intentional review of their own mindset and well-being in a space in the digital world that is noisy and often full of chaos. Phew! The next time you interact with your social media manager or hire one...here's what they're really doing. What jobs am I missing from the list above?

44% of employees would consider leaving their current job primarily because of money. 🤔 The accuracy of these numbers may be questionable now, given that the book was published in 2020. 📕 However, employees quitting their current jobs because of money still stand high. And this shouldn't be looked down upon. After all, we put effort and invest our time to bring value to a certain individual or organization. We all very well deserve to make decisions based on monetary benefits. The same happens to organizations like ours, we say no to clients who cannot compensate for our value and time. Sounds fair, doesn't it? So it should be fair for an individual too. If you're looking for a new job and think you should be paid more for your creative role, then contact us. Reach out to us at [email protected] or DM me. We are looking for the following roles👇🏽 1. Social Media Manager 2. Video Editor 3. Copywriter 4. Creative Strategist PS: Experience does matter but we are seeking curious minds to join our team. 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀!! Thrilled to share our journey at 'LeverageUs' (my content creation agency) where I discovered two of the most phenomenal video editors in November month! 🎥🌟 Hiring top talent is an art, and I've distilled my experience into 3 key questions to ask when seeking experts in any field: 1️⃣ Passion Alignment: "What excites you the most about our industry, and how does your passion align with our mission?" (common for every industry) In our case, it is: "Share a project that truly represents your creative flame. What made it special, and how did you elevate the content?" 2️⃣ Adaptability Aura: "Tell us about a time you had to adapt to a new tool or technology quickly. How did you approach it?" Adaptability is key in a dynamic landscape! (common for every industry) In our case, it is: "In the ever-evolving landscape, how do you stay ahead of trends and adapt your video editing style?" 3️⃣ Collaboration Mindset: "Can you share a specific example of how you collaborated with a team to overcome a challenge?" (common for every industry) In our case, it is: "Describe a time when collaboration brought out the best in your video editing skills. How did you handle creative differences?" Share your go-to hiring questions below 🌟

My vision is to become a better entrepreneur by solving problems for profit, continuously improving and growing in various aspects of life, and helping others become better versions of themselves
When you’re a small business owner, you become a jack of all trades. You pick up skills not out of choice, but out of necessity. Resources are often limited, and funding projects can be a challenge. That’s why I find myself doing voice-overs for my content, making do with what I have. While my audio quality may not match that of commercial production studios, it serves its purpose just fine for my business. In self-employment, you wear many hats—you’re the marketing manager, director, advertiser, cleaner, employee, and social media manager all in one. The key is to keep learning every day. When the income starts flowing, that’s when you can hire others to take on some of those roles. Until then, it’s all about doing it yourself and improving along the way. #KeepImproving #EveryDay

This is what hard work and dedication gets you. Through long nights, horrible self-doubt, and a myriad of failures, I kept getting back up. And sure enough, it paid off. I did all my own editing, voice over, script writing, and promotion; and I was able to turn a channel with just 124 subs last year into the 130,000 sub channel it is today. This is from interviewing showrunners and creators of popular TV shows, grassroots promotion, and sheer force of will. And if I can do that for my brand, just imagine what I can do for yours. I am a passionate digital media specialist who is always looking to branch out and try new things. To learn what I previously thought was impossible. Hiring me, is hiring not only someone that got to this point, but hiring someone that learned from each of their setbacks and defeats that led to it. Let me bring my tenacity and creativity to your company today. Let's make something incredible together.
