A short story, in case this helps you: December 2022: Applied to a job with Company A that uses SuccessFactors. March 2024: Applied to a job with Company B that uses SuccessFactors. My browser kept auto-filling my email address and password even though I'd never applied there before. April 2024: Checked my application status at Company B. My password manager kept telling me the wrong password. I had to re-set password with Company B. May 2024: I realized that companies using SuccessFactors all have the same domain name (career4.successfactors), so my browser can't tell the difference between them. My browser kept auto-filling my info from December 2022 at Company A, during a different "password era". If you're having continuous password issues with a SuccessFactors login, this may be your problem.

I have worked with SuccessFactors for 18 years now. Or, more correctly, I have helped companies in all industries reshape their people processes for more than 18 years (and more than 25 years considering other business domains)! I did not have that in mind when I traveled to San Mateo that September morning back in 2005! As 2023 is closing in with a hectic finish I came to think of "where are we" in terms of usability and capabilities in the #SuccessFactors suite. And wow has things evolved. This is one example of a value adding, user friendly capability that is making lives easier for managers and HR users, and which we at Effective People are recommending our clients to utilize. It ensures that you know exactly who made what changes to data in your annual salary review, and it is visible from within the user interface with filtering, searching and sorting capabilities.
