My Moët Hennessy USA onboarding journey continues to be refreshing and fulfilling! Last week I had the honor of visiting our Hennessy Maison, producer of the world's finest cognacs which are a result of a unique encounter between nature and human savoir-faire. Richard Hennessy founded the Maison in 1765 and today Hennessy is blended by Renaud Fillioux de Gironde, the 8th generation of a storied line of Master Blenders entrusted to preserve the house’s incredible quality. Imagine this— Renaud is tasting and blending some cognacs that were first produced by his family more than 200 years ago. Wow, talk about heritage! I visited a few of the amazing sites that make up the Hennessy legacy including the vineyards where Hennessy promotes a sustainable viticulture by preserving the natural ecosystems. The “Atelier de Tonnellerie” is an emblematic site in Cognac where the oak barrels in which the eaux-de-vie are aged. These oak barrels are handcrafted by Maison coopers—the guardians of ancestral know-how handed down from generation to generation. Today, Hennessy distinguishes itself as the only major Cognac Maison still making its own barrels. Finally, we had a brief look at the “Atelier des Éditions Rares,” where the most exceptional releases are designed, and handcrafted to perfection. By now, you've probably seen Hennessy's new "Made for More" campaign that highlights the beautiful versatility of the popular and iconic cognac and I'm excited for the continued evolution of the brand. A special thanks to the entire team at Hennessy, especially those doing the hard work to ensure people have a memorable experience with every sip. Your dedication to your craft and artistry continue to make Hennessy an icon for generations to come. What’s your favorite Hennessy moment? After last week, connecting with the people, 200+ year old heritage and process of our beloved cognac was definitely one of mine. #weareMH #moethennessy #hennessy

Hello Chris Gabaldon, not directly a Henessy but well a Moet moment from my family history is this photo of my grandmother and grandfather, captured by my father. This photo taken on their vacation visiting Moët & Chandon in the 1950’s.
If you happen to go through London on your travels, try and pay a visit to the bar in The Lansborough hotel. mickael perron is an amazing advocate for cognac and, in particular, Hennessy! The Paradis I had with him last week was unreal!
