To my SW Washington Manufacturing friends, Do you have entry level job openings for graduating students? Do you hire minors? Do you want to train your own teams? You are invited to participate in the Vancouver Public School Student Job Fair on May 30th from 11:00-1:00pm! Please register using QR code in flyer image or reach out to Nina Stemm, if you would like to attend this event. Nina Stemm CTE Partnerships & Choice Programs Lead Vancouver Public Schools 360-313-1355 [email protected] Please feel free to share this invitation with other employers who might be hiring! Employer Requirements: You must be ready to hire students. You must have active, current job openings appropriate for age 16+ or 18+ students. You must be prepared to briefly interview students and have a plan for following up with students you are interested in. If you do not have current job openings or positions that are expected to be available by mid June, please do not register for this event. Nina is happy to arrange another time for you to connect with students, when you are ready to hire. What to expect: Students age 18+ who are graduating and ready to enter the workforce. Students age 16+ who are looking for part-time or Summer employment. Students will be dressed to impress. Students will have resumes in hand. First 30 minutes - students will walk through all tables and decide who they would like to talk with further. Next 1 hour - students will return to their top choices for 5 minute mini interviews - maximum of 2 students at a time. Last 30 minutes - students will return to employers they are most interested in for follow-up and scheduling more extensive interviews.
