95% of senior IT leaders believe AI will increase the workloads of their IT infrastructure, but less than half consider their infrastructure ready. With this week's announcements, Cisco is bridging that gap. Here are highlights from my keynote at #CiscoLive.

Exciting strides by Cisco in addressing the evolving challenges of AI integration! 🌟 As an IT company focused on infrastructure readiness, we understand the importance of preparing for increased workloads brought by AI. Cisco’s commitment to bridging this gap is commendable and timely. We look forward to seeing how these announcements pave the way for more resilient and efficient IT infrastructures, empowering businesses to harness AI's full potential. From Hyperfabric with NVIDIA to the DXA integration in TE, your team is on fire! Huge props for a great week and for making sure our customers are AI infrastructure-ready. Loved showing our customers what’s possible with a strong foundation of networking, security, and observability!

Overall, while senior IT leaders are aware of the potential for AI to increase IT infrastructure workloads, there is a significant gap in readiness that needs to be addressed through strategic investments and modernization efforts. By focusing on these areas, organizations can better prepare their infrastructure to support the successful integration and operation of AI technologies.

I personally believe AI will surely put pressure on existing infrastructure as the speed of execution of work would multiply many folds and that would mean more productivity in a smaller time frame. This would require a bigger and larger bandwidth of infrastructure to sustain the workload. Current IT infrastructure will have to be revamped to cater to this massive growth and speed of execution.
