This week, we are going to discuss passports. The Citrus County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller is a passport acceptance facility, but we are not the issuing agency. The U.S. Department of State is the agency that has the authority to issue passports and passport cards.

This is interesting to me. It is the change in passports issued by state between 2019 and 2022 as a percentage of the state's population. Meaning, it is the difference between the percentage of a state that received a passport in 2019 and the percentage of a state that received a passport in 2022 (there was a huge drop off in passports issued in 2020 and 2021, unsurprisingly). A positive number means the state was issued more passports as a percentage of the population in 2022 than in 2019.

How To Renew Your Green Card via Law Info: https://bit.ly/3NtgzlU. "A permanent resident is a person who has been given authorization to work and live in the U.S. on a permanent basis. The card, also known as a “green card" because of the color of the identification card, is proof of the permanent residence status to be in the country and work legally. A green card is for permanent residency but green cards have an expiration, like most driver's licenses or passports. Most green cards are valid for ten years. Green card holders should renew within six months of the expiration date or after the green card expires. If you have an expired green card, you will not lose LPR status but you should still replace the card to keep a valid and updated proof of lawful status. It takes a lot of time, effort, and money to get permanent status. Keeping your card up-to-date can help you avoid any hassle when using your green card.” Contact us today for your free consultation. Big tip for those applying for new passports, TSA pre check or anything with TSA (or likely anything with DHS)…. IF you have a last name with TWO capitol letters (like McGuire or LeVac or FitzGerald), when you search for status online, you must enter a space before the second capitol letter to get a response. I enter in the search “McGuire”, status is not available. Then I search “Mc Guire” and status shows processed and mailed.

Uh oh. You dropped it in a puddle, and now you have a water-damaged passport. Or maybe your dog decided it wanted a new chew toy, and now you have a mutilated passport. Can you still use your passport as it is? Or do you have to replace it? And how do you do that? Here’s everything you need to know about a damaged passport. #cibt #passports #businesstravel

The longer the validity period of your passport, the less contact you need with government. The less contact you need with government, the fewer permissions you need to have a valid passport. The fewer permissions you need to have a valid passport, the stronger your #freedomofmovement. 10 year #passports > 5 year passports.

Hey LinkedIn, Even after going through your 'verification' process using valid passports, I still have 20 students who have 'discrepancies' and can't access their account. Can someone please get off their ass and reach out to me!!!!! #linkedin #linkedincommunity

Hey network! Passport questions: Does anyone have any resources that might: a) speed up the passport process in Virginia? (right now there is a backlog and it's taking 4-7 months to get one.) b) know of any funding sources that may help with paying for passports? (maybe even for a survivor? looking at $300+ right now to get one.) Thanks in advance for any info. Never had a passport before but need one so just have been looking into all of this and thought some folks in my network might have some ideas/options.

📝 Notary Tip: Always ensure proper identification! Valid government-issued photo IDs are a must for notarizations. Acceptable IDs include driver's licenses, passports, and state-issued IDs. This helps maintain the integrity and legality of the notarization process. 🔍 Remember: No ID, no notarization! #NotaryTips #ProperIdentification #NotaryPublic #LegalDocuments
