and a bridge of historical significance in engineering....and on the reconstruction of which my nephew worked!
Explore the Edge of Ireland 📍 Want to get a glimpse of Cork’s beautiful dramatic coastline? Mizen Head is the perfect daytrip to include in your itinerary! Including an award-winning maritime museum, and a café, Mizen Head boasts an unforgettable day! Sitting on the #WildAtlanticWay, Mizen Head is the most southernly point of mainland Ireland, boasting incredible scenery, and a vibrant history. The signal station at the edge of Mizen Head. This station was strategically significant for vessels voyaging across the Atlantic, housing the first radio beacon in Ireland, installed in 1931. This ensured effective communications were in-place to guide transatlantic routes away from the imposing rugged coastline. For many seafarers, Mizen Head was the last glimpse of Europe before they set off on their journeys. The signal station is approximately a 10-minute walk from the museum and café, leading to the scenic bridge which allows you to cross over the deep chasm between the tip of the peninsula, and the rest of the head. Before the bridge, 99 steps will slowly reveal the landscape, where you get to experience the beauty of Mizen Head from the series of paths and viewing platforms on the way! Mizen Head is another brilliant example of why Cork is Ireland’s #MaritimeHaven. From its’ historic importance to its’ stunning views of Ireland’s southern coastline, Mizen Head is a spectacular spot to visit. The most undervalued city of South East Queensland! The amount of times I hear investors interstate raise concern about “Logan”… 🤦 Logan City has a massive footprint and covers so many different types of terrain. Being a newer city than others, it has great infrastructure planning, unlike some areas that are just old cattle tracks converted to roads over the years… When looking at Logan City on a map, it doesn’t take long to figure out why it is so appealing to many. It has many large block family friendly suburbs, positioned between Australias most visited holiday destination (Gold Coast - 45min drive to most beaches). While also being on average 30min from Brisbane CBD. The new 2025 Planning Scheme will help shape Logan City into an even better version of its current standing.
The draft Logan Plan 2025 – a blueprint for our booming city – was endorsed by Logan City Council today for State review. The plan proposes policies to support more housing choices, quality design and opening up employment land in the city. Council also wants to encourage more local entertainment options after 6pm and limit the impact of service stations on surrounding areas. A new tourism code will support economy-boosting experiences in Logan. Visit our website to learn more: https://lnkd.in/gw8V3xNQ

I am a commercial buyers agent, educate, mentor, consultant and lead “everyday” real estate investors into a commercial property to increase their cash flow and secure high-yield returns
When looking a new area to invest in ... it always pays to check out the area by visiting the area yourself and seeing what are the drivers and what draws the locals and the tourists. What makes a town tick is important in understanding what type of commercial property to invest in...

Living in the Netherlands, access to nature and culture by bike and/or public transport is one of the things that I value most. That's why I support National Trust's resolution “to create green corridors that provide access from cities and towns out to the countryside,” 26% of National Trust locations are within a mile of the National Cycle Network -- 52% are within four miles of a train station. https://lnkd.in/eaYS7-Ee

For a third year, I have continued to live car-free and rely solely on walking and transit for mobility. This essay covers what I experienced during these years, changes accelerated by the pandemic, and insights into car-free travel, transit modes, and urbanism.
