While replacing your roof after storm damage, why not amplify your investment? Bundle a state-of-the-art solar installation to start generating clean energy and recouping costs through lower utility bills. CO is a high risk state for hail damage according to this map.

Eyes on Football - Vegas is Ready! Las Vegas has been preparing for years! Today’s event is one of many economic boosts to the basin which also hosted a Grand Prix in 2023. In a regulatory filing last summer the Clark County Public Works warned that they responded to 200,000 dig tickets in 2022 and are concerned that infrastructure companies might not market their underground facilities accurately. Nevada Power is also ready with an Incident Management Team, which according to a line of questioning by the Nevada PUC, might be used to improperly shift costs to ratepayers. The reality of Wind Power may be seen in every western movie, where Railroad Stations & Ranch Headquarters feature a large water storage tank on tall supports, beside a Windmill set above a water well. “Everyone” knows that the water tank is large enough to supply water needs when the wind doth not blow, when the wind doth blow too slow, and when the wind doth blow too hard. The Windmill aimed itself at the wind, unless the wind blew too hard, which caused the tail vane’s support to ‘trip’, switch to Self-protection mode, and stay there until the high wind speed dropped to safe levels. All without computer control, all without needing outside electrical power to aim & keep safe the mechanism. Modern Wind Turbines need a very robust foundation, because the foundation must resist both the Wind pressure on the support tower & Nacelle, there is also the Thrust of the Wind upon the Disc of the spinning turbine blades. Betz’s Law states that 16/27 of the kinetic energy in the wind is the maximum theoretical capture possible. Real world sees 80% of the Betz Limit by the best Wind Turbines. We can see that a 100 meter diameter Disc, on top of a 100 meter-tall tower, has a huge lever arm pushing on the foundation, from varying directions.

And so it begins, the great subsidized renewable wind farce is now crumbling, soon to be followed by geothermal, sun, hydrogen, etc. Now that everyone has gotten their piece of the pie in the name of "climate change" which is really a name change for "Global Warming", no one will be around to clean up their mess. Everyone is out attacking the oil industry and telling us how great these other industries are, but the facts remain, you can't build enough subsidized (100% in many cases) windmills, solar panels, batteries etc to make sense to cover our energy needs, and yet we will need at least 2 to 3 times more as we continue to build electric cars, wind and geothermal generators, more electric appliances (see CA and NY), etc. This awful subsidized idea, which is based on the CO2 based Climate Change of an alleged 65 ppm (.00065 % of the atmosphere) is the sole cause of "Global Warming"? Can we just use some common scientific sense before we all jumped off the bridge like a bunch of lemmings? No one, including every billionaire backer of these new energies, would even consider investing in this renewable energy industry without the government cheese being handed out to them to create this unprofitable industry. If you thought the Obama bailouts were bad in 2008-09, this should make you sick to your stomach. The US may be able to subsidize this a little longer, but to keep this profitless industry alive will take more than the 34 trillion we are already in debt. When history looks back at what destroyed America, this illegitimate industry of "renewable energy", which doesn't include Nuclear, will be the destruction of the US economy and henceforth, maybe freedom around the world. And yet our current government continues to press the ludicrous button over and over again like a 8 yr old playing a video game. Enough Already!
