Turf conversions are a great way to save water. Through Roseville's Cash for Grass program, we've transformed many square feet of turf into water-efficient landscapes. Recently, we partnered with a local landscape company to replace grass with sustainable alternatives at a shopping center along a busy corridor in Roseville. With this landscape change, the amount of water saved could provide water to an average Roseville home for more than four years.
Roseville is also a Class 1 NFIP community, the highest level that can be achieved in the NFIP program for these types of activities, that includes open space enhancements, and flood risk reduction programs.
What a great partnership! Looking forward to work with you on many more projects!
It makes sense to plant more native and drought resistant plants in the Roseville area.
A true win-win! Partnership!! 🙌 It was an absolute honor to collaborate with the City of Roseville Water Conservation Department 😊
