Our downtown core is evolving into an attractive, welcoming, and accessible destination with the newly opened Centennial Plaza, located between Stanley A. Milner Library and the Westin Hotel. Centennial Plaza is a vibrant hub where Edmontonians and visitors alike can gather to connect with nature in the heart of the city. It welcomes all with open arms: kids can enjoy unstructured play areas, parents can relax in seating, art lovers can admire captivating installations, and nature enthusiasts can find peace in green spaces.  It's a testament to a downtown that caters to everyone's interests and passions. 🌲 Improving for sure; gracias. We would love to see more green areas within the core (Central Edmonton) – more trees for sure. When I walk through downtown I usual feel I am in the midst of shades, and brown – lack of greening areas. Please consider a special “greening the downtown” initiative. For instance, in the midst of a heatwave, something that will intensify& be more frequent in the years ahead, trees and greener spaces would reduce the temperature considerably …

My picture of the same space is full of methheads and shopping carts. Is this version AI modified, or just carefully staged for the speeches and the row of photographers in the background.
