Exciting news from the deck of the North Purpose, one of the vessels that participated in the Maress Decarbonisation Campaign last year.   We are thrilled to share that VPS will organize another Maress Decarbonisation Campaign in 2024. Get ready and get involved! We´re building on the remarkable achievements of last year, where the crews on 133 vessels across the globe from 8 companies joined forces, collectively slashing nearly 11,000 tons of CO2 emissions in just two months! Thanks to the participation of some of the world’s leading offshore vessel owners: Solstad Offshore ASA, Simon Møkster Shipping AS, Boskalis Offshore Energy, Rem Offshore, Tidewater, Skansi Offshore, North Sea Shipping, and DOF.   This is an open invitation to forward-leaning companies who want to be part of this and collectively push the industry in the right direction. Reach out to us to sign up for this summer´s campaign, or to start a conversation on how to get involved. This year we´re aiming for even more vessels, broader geographic coverage and even bigger emission savings! It's been a week in my new role as the Manager of Digital & Decarbonisation at Veritas Petroleum Services VPS and I'm overwhelmed. In this role, I get to drive the decarbonisation of vessels through innovative, data-driven solutions while providing advisory support for vessel owners and charterers in their long-term plans for alternative fuels. Yes, there's still much to do if we were to achieve the IMO's net-zero goal by 2050, but I'm overwhelmed with excitement by what we can do to expedite the decarbonisation process for our maritime sector. With the experience and knowledge acquired in the maritime industry over the years, I look forward to working closely with our customers and guiding them in their journey towards net zero through data-driven solutions based on our expertise in the fuel-testing space.
