One month ago, I embarked on an exhilarating journey: my MBA at SOIL. Transitioning from a three-year stint in the corporate world to the dynamic realm of academia was no small feat, but it was undoubtedly the right move for my personal and professional growth. Choosing to pursue a one-year MBA was a decision I deliberated on extensively, weighing the pros and cons, but now, reflecting on these initial weeks, I couldn't be more grateful for taking the plunge. In this short span, the learning curve has been steep, but incredibly rewarding. Each activity has been a treasure trove of lessons and insights, from assignments to quizzes, guest lectures to sports tournaments. Here are some key takeaways from my MBA journey thus far: 1. Embrace Discomfort: Stepping out of your comfort zone is non-negotiable. Self-doubt may creep in, but cultivating self-confidence is paramount. Speaking up can be daunting, but with the support of peers and faculty, I'm learning to find my voice and expand my horizons. 2. Choose Your Circle Wisely: Not everyone will be your ally, and that's okay. Surround yourself with individuals who challenge, support, and uplift you through thick and thin. 3. Mastering Time: With a year-long MBA program, time becomes both your ally and adversary. Reflecting on my MBA journey, I am proud to say that I graduated with Distinction! All the uncertainties related to putting on hold my career evanished immediately from the first day of my MBA at  ESCP Business School. I realized soon what privilege was dedicating an entire year to my personal and professional transformation. After this exciting journey, here is my top 3 takeaways: 1) Embrace the changes: all the experiences out are just opportunities to make us better persons. It's on us to choose how. 2) Look constantly for the "big picture": ask questions, keep learning, try to connect dots between apparently unrelated domains. Maybe it is there where you will make the difference. 3) Be a nice humain being: be kind, respect, listen, care about people and admit your mistakes. Sometimes it's not easy but it is really worth it. For all of this, I am grateful to all my professors and colleagues for having coached and inspired me constantly. I believe I have learnt from each of you, and this will make the difference for my personal and professional growth. And thanks to my family and all my beloved ones for the relentless support.
