Malcolm Turnbull emphasised the imperative of integrating more intermediate and long-duration energy storage technologies. That is exactly what is happening under cover in Brisbane: there is new technology being developed that will require some batteries MW's very soon, however this renewable energy generation does not require extra batteries as it will generate 24/7 and is not reliant on nature.
