Did you know Whataburger CEO Ed Nelson is a Tiger, too? 🧡 This week, he’s making his own orange mark in South Carolina, opening the company’s first restaurants in his home state. Congrats, Ed! Learn more about how Clemson set Ed on his path in the upcoming fall edition of Clemson World magazine.

As a Texas born, raised, and current native combined with being a Clemson graduate I can definitely support the move! Clemson Tigers deserve one of the best fast food burgers in existence! The color schemes match up nicely as well!

I drove nearly a hundred miles to try out the new burger and I was very disappointed I ordered a cheeseburger without onions and they put onions on it and I bit into it and made me sick all the way home and I called up there for a refund and a manager refuse to give me a refund. I waited in line for a couple of hours because the line was so long and the food was not worth the wait at all. It was so terrible. I am allergic to onions and I told them that but they did not care. At least at McDonald's or Burger King or Wendy's they will make it right. At Whataburger they do not care about their customers "

As a fellow Clemson Grad, 1959. My first What-A-Burger was years later in Texas. Glad you came to Spartanburg, SC. Can't wait to sink my teeth into a yummy burger. Blessings Tony

Last year, I made dozens of trips from GSP to Moneterrey, Mexico for work. To make the travel easier, I would schedule an overnight layover in Dallas so that I could catch a late flight out of GSP and an early morning flight to Monterrey. I would always grab a meal at Whataburger in my stop through Texas. Good food, friendly service. What could be better?! Welcome to SC!
