In the spirit of teamwork and pushing beyond limits, we are excited to be part of this joint challenge with #Paris2024 and Air Liquide to bring #Hydrogen from renewable sources to the Games and beyond. During the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024, Air Liquide will supply hydrogen from renewable sources to power 500 of hydrogen-fuelled FCEV #ToyotaMirai, enabling zero tailpipe emission mobility for the Olympic and Paralympic family and organisers. But that’s not all! We are committed to a sustainable future, so all 500 Mirai vehicles will join the existing Paris hydrogen taxi fleet, increasing the total number of FCEV vehicles to 1,500. Looking forward for to connect and learn from the most sustainable and “ready” Games in the modern era. — 95% of Paris 2024 venues are existing or temporary structures. — Paris will add 55 kilometers of new cycle lanes for the Olympics. — The Athletes Village will provide housing for 6,000 people post-Games, with 25% as public housing and another third as affordable housing. — A new public transport link to Orly Airport will be operational by 24 June — A new aquatic centre will be built, serving the community long-term. — Significant investment will be made in the Saint-Denis area, including new infrastructure and community facilities. — Paris 2024 aims to reduce emissions by 50% compared to previous Games. — 90% of the six million goods used will be repurposed or reused post-Games. — The River Seine will be cleaned and improved for public use, aiming to make it swimmable by 2025.
