Attention Job Seekers, When pursuing a job, avoid exposing your vulnerabilities upfront. Doing so may lead potential employers to perceive you as a burden, potentially hindering your chances. Start by highlighting your strengths and the value you can bring to their organization. Share how your skills align with their goals and what you can contribute to their success. Discussing personal challenges with a potential employer might elicit sympathy, but it's unlikely to be the key that unlocks opportunities. Focus on showcasing your capabilities and the positive impact you can make instead. #jobseekers #opportunity #job #jobalert #jobhunting #jobopening #jobhiring #help

**Why This is Unhealthy and Opposite of Hospitality:** A healthy working environment is rooted in the principles of hospitality, which include respect, support, and care for others. In contrast, a toxic workplace neglects these principles, fostering a culture that is detrimental to employees' well-being. 1. **Lack of Respect**: Toxic environments often involve disrespectful behavior, such as micromanagement, public criticism, and disregard for employees' opinions. This lack of respect can undermine confidence and create a hostile atmosphere. 2. **Absence of Support**: A supportive workplace offers resources, guidance, and encouragement to help employees succeed. In toxic environments, employees are left to fend for themselves, leading to frustration and a sense of isolation. 3. **Neglect of Well-being**: Hospitality emphasizes caring for others, ensuring their comfort and happiness. Toxic workplaces neglect employee well-being, prioritizing productivity over health. This neglect can result in physical and mental health issues, diminishing overall quality of life.

An amazing topic that is swept underfoot Eg If you work FIFO, some Companys feel if you are classified as a "blue collar" worker, you are not intellectually endowed and live like unmannerly beasts in your point of origin even though you may have come from superior background than your employer accommodation planner, imagine staying at a hotel and your room is cleaned once a week by hotel staff, shows a lot about the what background the employer comes from! Yes, this causes stress and office pros need T&D awareness to positively support efforts to eliminate mental issues, some have no idea about hygienic standards, graft is a big problem that goes unnoticed, the "pay off" for inferior standards at the employee expense

Absolutely, that's such an important reminder! A fulfilling job goes beyond just the role and responsibilities. A positive and supportive working environment is crucial for maintaining mental and emotional well-being. When we pray for career opportunities, let's also remember to seek workplaces that promote balance, growth, and happiness, ensuring we thrive both personally and professionally. Thank you for sharing this insightful thought!

Couldn't agree more! 🙌 First impressions are critical. Show them what you've got first! But don't forget; everyone loves an underdog story *after* you've shown your value.
