We’re thrilled to be reinvesting in Arbonics €5.5M seed round alongside NordicNinja VC and Tilia Impact Ventures to enable the team to scale its nature-based carbon removal platform! While many new technological carbon removal projects are being started, these solutions take time to scale -- a luxury we don’t have. Forests, restored wetlands and healthy soils already remove ~2GT of carbon annually, which could grow up to 10GT by 2050, but we could do more to achieve carbon removal through nature at scale. Arbonics is setting a new standard with its unique data and science-based tool that calculates the carbon removal potential of land across Europe -- collaborating with over 4000 landowners and planting 4M+ trees. The team, led by Kristjan Lepik and Lisett Luik, offers a transparent and verifiable approach to forest carbon projects.
