Nicely said, Rick!
I help teams grow their digital maturity by bringing visibility to underperforming areas within People, Processes and Technology aspects that was previously unknown.
3wGreat post Rick Allen. This doesn't get enough attention to consider within their content strategies these days. Flexibility needs to be considered in this strategy as well. In my experience working with many federal clients, achieving a readability score of 8th-grade level is not always possible. So this is just a little nugget to think about. Start your focus on page level 1 and 2 (the most popular pages typically) to achieve 8th-grade level compliance. As deeper pages may need to be more technical than the top pages.
