This might be one of the most important milestones in Earth observation. Congrats to Satellogic for the vision! This means some of the foundational EO research and corresponding commercial applications will likely use and be powered by Satellogic imagery. And, the end user may not really know that the underlying AI model that provided the insight was using Satellogic, but that is completely ok. As I have always said, the most successful EO companies of our time will be those that are not actually popular and those that are not really in the foreground. So, kudos to Satellogic for prioritizing the long-term (impactful) win over the short-term (financial) gain.
