Today's Reminder: Find Your WHY We all have that driving force that propels us forward in our lives and careers, giving us purpose every day. For me, it's my three kids. I want them to create a magical life and be a role model to help them achieve it. Becoming a mom unlocked a level of grit, drive, and perseverance I didn't know I possessed. When I remind myself of my children, especially during tough times, I find the strength to overcome life's biggest challenges. This photo of my MBA notes and books from DePaul Driehaus College of Business with a "Mom" drawing from my daughter symbolizes my "Why." If you're struggling to find your "why," here are four tips to hopefully help you along your journey: 1. Embrace Life's Transitions Major life changes often reveal hidden strengths and new motivations. Whether it's starting a family, changing careers, or facing unexpected challenges, these transitions can help you discover your true purpose. 2. Start with a Surface "Why," Then Dig Deeper Begin with an obvious motivation, like career growth or financial stability. As you progress, reflect on what truly drives you at your core. For me, it evolved from career advancement to setting an example for my children that dreams have no boundaries and can be achieved at any age. 3. Identify Your Superpower and Career "Why" Reflect on your unique talents and how they align with your values. My career "why" is to uncover a brand's true purpose by leading with authenticity, curiosity, and kindness. My superpower is translating that purpose into strategies where meaningful stories drive business impact. This is what makes work meaningful for me while my "ultimate why" is the underlying conduit keeping me going. 4. Visualize Your Goal Create a tangible reminder of your "why." For me, it was my daughter's "Mom" drawing among my MBA study materials. This visual anchor kept me motivated during challenging times. Remember, it can also be any visual, such as words that represent your core values to a vision board of your dream life. Remember, your "why" might surprise you and may evolve as you grow. Stay open, reflect deeply, and let your true motivations emerge. I am a firm believer when your true why shows up at work and in life, you can achieve almost anything. #FindYourWhy

Great ideas there -- I especially love # 2 - start with the surface why then dig deeper. I love the exercise of trying to go 7 why's down - it can get challenging but really getting to the root WHY is so valuable.
