If you, or a loved one, are trying to save money on medical services, here are three services I think are very interesting and that may be useful to you. https://www.trybilly.app/ For comparing costs and CMS quality ratings. https://dollarfor.org/ For reducing hospital fees and other medical charges. https://www.goodbill.com/ For reducing hospital fees and other medical charges. If you've used on of these, I'd love to hear your experience. If you've used another tool, platform, or service, please share in the comments. #health #upstream #medicalcosts #healthcare #healthinsurance #insurance

Just a few more I love to recommend! https://www.medicare.gov/care-compare/ - MOST doctors are contracted with Medicare. If they are, and their quality reporting exists, This can help me quickly figure new specialists based on their ratings. https://findhelp.org/ - SDOH is a real problem! Find Help is a non profit aggregator. Individuals can find resources regardless of if they are seeking all forms of help from financial, legal, food, health, transportation...etc. https://data.cms.gov/tools#:~:text=visualize%20data%20interactively.-,Look%2DUp%20Tools,-Medicare%20Inpatient%20Hospital - I particularly like the "Medicare Part D Prescriber Look-Up Tool" In my case, my PCP left the practice and there was a new doctor assigned to me. I have ADHD and anxiety. Using that Part D Look-Up tool, I could see if the new doctor tended to treat my conditions using the same med management strategies. If you are used to one drug and you find out a new doctor is going to try to switch things up, it can help you make informed decisions! Naturally, I love trybilly, healthcare bluebook for fighting claims, and found out about DollarFor last year due to Christy Snodgrass. I'm very thankful for all of these tools generated to help consumers!

I just shared this with a friend who was worried about the cost of a CT scan. Thank you, Leon Wisniewski, for creating such a valuable tool!
