Honored to moderate this timely and critical conversation on "The Importance of Policy, Regulation & Geo-Political Risk Competence on Corporate Boards" on July 23rd from 5:30-8:00 pm EST. Over the last three years, the CEOs & Board Directors have seen the importance of sound global corporate affairs, advocacy, ESG, investor relations, and communications counsel. We are pleased to feature Former Mayor and National League of Cities CEO & Executive Director Clarence Anthony, Former Chairman of the Export-Import Bank of the United States Kimberly Reed, and Parsons Corporation Chair, President & CEO Carey Smith who will explore how Board members and CEOs are enhancing governance value through legal, policy, and risk management competence while navigating a complex landscape influenced by regulation, ESG, and global geopolitical dynamics. 3wGreat to see Geo-Political Risk at the forefront of C-Suite discussions. While globalization opened the doors to less accessible markets in the past, it also enhanced risk considerations. Today, supply chain risk, financial risk, regulatory/trade risk, and operational risk are all affected by geo-political factors. I couldn't recommend a better moderator than you my friend.
