Pansexual and Panromantic Awareness and Visibility Day is an opportunity to celebrate and recognize the identities, experiences, and contributions of pansexual and panromantic individuals. It's a day to raise awareness about the diversity within the LGBTQ+ community, particularly focusing on those who identify as pansexual or panromantic. Visibility and awareness days like this help combat stigma, foster understanding, and promote inclusivity. They provide platforms for education, support, and empowerment for those within the pansexual and panromantic communities and beyond. It's also an opportunity for allies to show their solidarity and amplify the voices of those who often face marginalization or erasure.

Recent studies highlight the struggles Black LGBTQ+ youth face and the urgent need for tailored support systems. The mental health challenges and unsafe environments call for a unified effort to provide safe, affirming spaces. We must address the intersections of race and LGBTQ+ identities to truly support these young people. Remembering #WorldAIDSDay ❤️Reflecting on all those lost and the demonisation/pain of entire minority communities from the 1980s.❤️ 1️⃣Stigma has reduced significantly in high income countries but still remains an issue in different nations globally. 2️⃣HIV prevention and treatment has came along way since the first test was developed in mid 1980s. 3️⃣For a person living with HIV: Antiretroviral therapy with effectice adherence is 99% effective at reducing the risk of the virus being passed on: U-U undetectable~untransmittable. 4️⃣Someone living with HIV who uses on ARV and is undetectable lives as long as someone without HIV. 5️⃣For a person not living with HIV: PrEP or pre-exposure prophylaxis (an ARV medication) with effective adherence reduces the risk of them contracting HIV by up to 99%. 📢These are great advances but more work is needed in global equality to reduce HIV stigma that continues to affect minority communities.📢
