We have a strong culture of positively impacting others, and I couldn’t be prouder of our team for raising close to $160,000 at our 10th Annual Charity Golf Outing. Since 2014, our #nmchicago office has come alongside one another to support kids with cancer and their families through Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation Stand Foundation. Over the years, Liz Scott and Jay Scott, co-founders of ALSF, have shared how the Foundation grew from the front-yard lemonade stand efforts of their daughter Alex, who was fighting her own battle with cancer, into leading national charity dedicated to helping others. I would echo their sentiment that the "power of one" is strong but that the "power of many" is even stronger. I don’t know how often I have said $50 funds one hour of research, which helps people understand that we can move the needle with a little effort. Together, we have funded more than 19 thousand hours of research. Today, that research is leading to better treatments and cures. For me and our team, that is one of the best outcomes we can hope to achieve. A lot of work goes into this effort, and I want to thank all the sponsors, golfers and volunteers who have helped us raise $996,000 over the years.
