Ongoing tension between the boss and employee who refused to attend calls/emails after office hours 😆
Interestingly IT orgs never mention the number of working hours in their offer letter. They rather mention that you will be available whenever required; employees should be available for any shifts; etc. But again the definition of shift is not mentioned anywhere. On the other hand, I know and have examples where many employees have managed showing online with some hack, like putting some light weight on any key and keeping open a word doc file. And for such employees others have to suffer. Keep aside the reason for corporates behaving like a don. Ha ha ha Ultimately it's in our hand when to say yes or when to say no. It's our single agenda on how to make our life calm and beautiful. Rather than running after hefty hikes while going from one org to other, and too much of higher expectations from our leadership during appraisal or promotion cycle. Anyhow enjoy life!
any employee above the govt wages level, should be committed to company..
Are we not sending a wrong message with this behaviour? Whether WFH or WFO, work hours should be clearly defined and adhered to
Well said, companies should understand that employees are working more than 8 hrs during wfh and is available for important calls
And then comes the "Hybrid model" New weapon of the companies 😂
Agree but if we do so then we will get more pressure work and not get proper hikes, so no chance to escape from work, haha; If you are team leader/manager, do you agree the same for your teammates? I think no. 😄
It's pretty surprising to see a story about an IT employee deleting the Microsoft Teams app making headlines in Times of India. It's like even the smallest frustrations at work can become big news! 😄 😂
It's proven .It's not working from office or home .It's what is more painful and worse.Excellent reply.
