Yesterday, I witnessed another solid performance of our CS team live from our #BIG #HQ in Berlin.
And I couldn't be more proud of the team at the moment, which nailed down a spot in the BLAST Premier Showdown finals yesterday. They already focus on practising #CS2, the new game, while the showdown will still be concluded in #CSGO, the game that shaped fps #esport for more than ten years. It's challenging for all teams to deal with this transition period, as everybody wants to be in the best shape possible for the first CS2 event.
In the game yesterday, we took down ENCE Esports, currently ranked 2nd in the world and definitely one of the top teams of the last six months, in a commanding 2-0 win yesterday. During the last six head-to-head matches, we only managed to win one match against our friends from Finland.
This victory isn't an isolated event; it confirms our strong form over the past weeks. Just before facing ENCE, we also had a decisive 2-0 win against Team 9z.
Up next, we'll be facing either G2 Esports or Cloud9 Esports, Inc. in the finals, fighting for the last spot in the #BLASTPremier Fall Final in Copenhagen's Royal Arena tomorrow. As all Royal Arena Events by BLAST have been incredible shows, I can't wait for us to return to Denmark in November.
GG WP ENCE Esports, Mika Kuusisto & Joona Leppänen!
