Surrounding yourself with talent is smart, but surrounding yourself with the right talent is even smarter. Learn how to spot this early and then offer support and trust to enhance their success.

Success is the sum of small steps so keep stepping!!

Embrace setbacks as part of the process of building a business. You will face adversity, you will not hit deadlines, you will miss opportunities, and you can't freak out and get so emotionally attached to disappointment... Instead, recognize these things as part of the process and accept them as opportunities to improve and get better. No matter how long you have been in business, certainly as time passes, it will get better, you and your people will get better, and you'll eventually forget how hard it was in the beginning. However, under NO circumstances can you use the term Failure, to sum up the entire experience. Here is a short list of companies that started under one model and later pivoted to a much different model and then made it big(ger). Apple - Computers to Consumer Electronics Amazon - Ebooks to the largest retailer in the world Salesforce - from a CRM to a Customer Engagement Platform Air BnB - Room Rentals to a Travel Platform Zoom - Video Conferencing to Remote Work Platform Peloton - High-End Exercise Bike to a Digital Fitness Platform There is no such thing as Failure, just EXPERIENCES; learn, adjust, adapt, and move on, move Forward!

This is a great quote by Forbes. It can be so easy for a business owner to get caught up in their failures or downturns in the company. It is so important to know that running and growing a business is not always what is shown on LinkedIn or social media, and success for a business looks more like a winding road rather than a straight shot to the top.

One of the most important lessons I learned is that land business isn’t about land at all - it’s about people. The more you listen and come up with solutions that work for everyone in the deal, the more successful you’ll be.

It’s about the win/win…and doing business with the RIGHT people.
