No doubt, In all of my Industrial experiences, as an Electrical Technician, stranded wire is mostly used. Why? Generally, stranded wire is preferred for applications requiring higher current because it offers more flexibility and a larger surface area for current to flow. ______ Allowing for better conductivity and heat dissipation. The strands in a stranded wire allow it to withstand bending and movement without breaking, making it suitable for environments with vibrations or frequent flexing. My team and I carried out preventive maintenance on a centrifugal pump & the driving 3-phase induction Motor. In our terminal, the process flow is from the Product tank(PMS) → product Pump → Loading Gantry. After the preventive maintenance tasks were completed, we decided to test run the pump during the loading operation. The motor started, pump ran smoothly, everything was ok but yet there was no flow of product. Then, I had to troubleshoot the cause for no flow by considering the following? 1.    Is there product in the tank? 2.    Are all the valves along the process line opened? 3.    Is the pump upstream strainer clogged? 4.    Is the pump experiencing cavitation traceable to poor design or improper line up of valves? 5.    Is there misplace of phase/Incorrect wiring of the 3- phase motor by the electrical technician? Each option was checked one after the other, the problem was reduced to one of the above and we were able to resolve the issue. Please share your comments & ideas on what you think could result to no flow in a centrifugal pump.

Engine is present with restrictions on the fuel return line. - Fuel Regulator bad/blocked passage and built pressure in fuel systems - When #dirty or foreign particles find it way to Fuel system capable of causing blockage or restrictions in passage. I found an air compressor technician in California who is    A non-job hopper.   A rotary screw and centrifugal compressor expert    He is experienced in electrical and mechanical engineering, past the compressor.   HE was only asking for 30.00 per hour!?   There is an old saying- if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is    I had to ask the candidate directly.    “ You sound too good to be true; what is the catch?”   “ Are you an ax murder?????”   Candidate    “ ha, no, sir. #CB_maintenance Breaker maintenance is essential to extending the working life of your circuit breaker. As with anything else constantly in use – such as your car or your house – a circuit breaker will last longer and work better if it is appropriately maintained. When you have breaker maintenance done, the technician will perform: -Visual and mechanical inspections -Electrical testing -Lubrication and cleaning -Resurfacing, plating or other restoration as necessary

As a valve specialist, it is not only necessary to be knowledgeable about maintenance, but also to understand the reasons why a valve may fail in order to recommend the best operating condition for the equipment. In the photo below, we can see a plug with severe damage in its sealing area, which required replacement. But why did this happen? Studying this occurrence in detail, it was possible to identify that the control for this valve was incorrect, causing it to operate in small openings at a very high speed, which consequently led to the damage. Additionally, the low opening did not meet the flow requirements. After replacing the plug and implementing a characterized opening curve that provided a better range of valve opening and improved flow response, the valve now operates normally without the previous frequent issues. Therefore, be a technician who seeks to understand the reasons for failures, rather than just correcting them. #valvula
